JOLIET, IL — Don’t call them a tribute band. Hairball is much more than a retro-flashback.

The band is a “drop-dead accurate” homage to some of the biggest acts in music, including Van Halen, KISS, Motley Crue, Queen, Journey and Aerosmith, according to the Rialto Square Theatre, and they’ll be playing live at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20.

The Hairball stage will become an entirely new rock concert before your very eyes countless times throughout the night. The motor that drives the Hairball dragster consists of Freaky on the electric bass, Blake on the drums, and Happy on the lead guitar. These Rock & Roll soldiers pride themselves on nailing some of the most memorable licks and chops of all time, while adding their own style and flare that they’ve cultivated over decades of tireless performing.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19. Tickets are between $20 and $35. Tickets are available at the Rialto box office, online at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745- 3000.

The Rialto Square Theatre is located at 102 N. Chicago Street in Joliet. More info at: www.rialtosquare.com.
